Bernard Loolasho

Executive Director

Bernard Loolasho is the founder and Executive Director of LANCCI, providing strategic leadership for the organisation’s vision of community-led conservation and sustainable pastoral landscapes. He works closely with Indigenous communities, conservation partners, government institutions, and development organisations to strengthen local governance, ecological restoration, and resilient livelihoods. His leadership continues to position LANCCI as a platform where conservation and community wellbeing are advanced together.

Francis Shuel

Board Member

Francis provides financial oversight for LANCCI, ensuring responsible management of organisational resources while supporting transparent governance and sustainable programme delivery. His work strengthens accountability and helps safeguard the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability.

Lesalang'a Leitiko

Chairperson, Shulmai CLMC

Lesalang’a provides leadership within the Shulmai Community Land Management Committee, helping strengthen local governance systems that align conservation priorities with community aspirations. His work promotes inclusive participation in sustainable land management.

Community Engagement & Education Officer

Grants & Partnerships Lead

Eliud develops relationships with funding partners, institutions, and collaborators to strengthen programme sustainability and long-term organisational growth.

Communication & Advocacy Officer

Boniface develops communication strategies, advocacy campaigns, and storytelling initiatives that strengthen public awareness of LANCCI’s work.

Conservation Field Officer

Markoz works directly with communities to implement restoration activities, monitor ecosystems, and strengthen local conservation initiatives.

Data, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Saruni manages data collection, programme monitoring, and impact evaluation, ensuring that LANCCI’s work is informed by reliable evidence and continuous learning.

Joram Bramuel

Software & Systems Maintenance

Joram leads the design, development, and maintenance of LANCCI’s digital infrastructure, supporting websites, information systems, and technology platforms that improve organisational efficiency and outreach.
